We have the following equipment for sale currently:
New Holland 1052 Stack Retriever Truck on 1975 Ford F-600 chassis. - $11,500
This is a great truck which runs strong with all hydraulics in good working order. One tail light is broken and the tires are in good, not great, condition with several years of farm life left on them. The truck is not titled, but is road ready. It is a former U-Haul truck, well maintained, with gas engine and 124,617 miles.
The 1052 Stack Retriever is designed to move the hay stack produced by virtually any New Holland bale wagon, including 3-wide models, up to 12 bales high. We have modified it to go down as short as 6 bales high - it originally went as short as 8 bales high. We have also modified the top rack to better grip the top of stacks - this is bolted on and the original parts are included. The truck comes with the side extensions and a center prong for picking up 3-wide stacks, although they are not currently installed.
The two center forks are apparently a homemade add-on somewhere in the life of this machine, as I can find no information about them in New Holland literature. One is bowed slightly as you can see in the pictures. The original center-fork for picking up 3-wide stacks is included and is straight and good - it is built of sturdier stuff.
This machine works great. We are selling it because it does not meet our needs - we now bale extra short bales that won't be picked up by a bale wagon to begin with. But if you bale any standard size bales that are stacked with a bale wagon this truck should work for you.
We are located in Centerville, near Goldendale, Washington, about 2 hours from Portland, Bend, the Tri-Cities or Ellensburg. Please email me if you have any questions.
