HOME

Our 1903 Ranch House The Ranch Headquarters:
We have three guest rooms in our restored 1903 Victorian farmhouse here on the ranch. If you don't like camping and want a few comforts, then nothing will beat the location of the farmhouse.

The farmhouse is at Ranch Headquarters, where you can enjoy the atmosphere of the giant old oak trees, original barn, outbuildings and split rail fences of this old homestead. It is sited out of the winds in a little hollow, with peek-a-boo views of Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood, and the surrounding fields. It sits on the edge of the Center Field, and is a very short walk from the West Field. It is only a 5 minute drive to the East Field from the farmhouse.

Our 1903 Ranch House Dining:
When you stay at the ranch, you are our guest here with us. You will enjoy excellent farm cooking, with 3 generous meals a day. Breakfasts are hearty to keep you going through the day. We can pack you a good lunch for the trail, or you can come back for a mid-day break and rest. And dinner is good home cooking. All our meals are served family style in the original dining room.

Sleeping:
The three guests rooms on the 2nd floor will be a great spot for you to spend the night. Each sleeps two people.

The Fireplace RoomThe Fireplace Room has a working fireplace in it and is the largest bedroom. It has a double bed, and is great for couples.

The Stairway RoomThe Stairway room is at the top of the stairs and features views to the east. It has two twin beds.

The Wardrobe RoomThe Wardrobe room is the cosiest bedroom, and faces west. It also has two twin beds.

All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor of the house, which is served by 2 shared bathrooms with hot showers. There is also a library/office on the 2nd floor, with access to the balcony.

Our 1903 Ranch House Relaxing:
When you are not out hunting you can warm yourself by the fireplace in the living room, while enjoying the company of your hunting buddies and other guests. Or you can enjoy a movie from our library, or just relax and read a good book.

If you have a non-hunting spouse with you, this will be a great spot for them to get some relaxation - maybe finish that novel or craft project. Or they can watch the deer frolic on the lawn - a no hunting area, sorry. We are also less than an hour away from a variety of other activities including fine art or historic museums, antiques, farm and orchard tours, outdoor recreation and more.

Our facility is used as a retreat center at other times of the year. But during hunting season you will be our guest of honor, so this is a very special opportunity for you. And it is an opportunity for us to go all out on hospitality to make your stay memorable.

Rates:
Lodging with full room and board with us is $200 per person per night, double occupancy, or $300 single occupancy. Reserve your lodging ahead of time, as space is limited, and local hotels fill up quickly during hunting season.
