- Know your boundaries.
- All hunters must be legally licensed by the State of Washington and meet any and all other legal requirements to be able to hunt the game they are hunting.
- No target practice during hunting season – use our range to sight in your equipment early.
- No shooting any unauthorized animals.
- Know where your shot will go.
- Please don’t litter – if you pack it in, pack it out.
- If you use the “facilities”, please BURY IT with your TP.
- Call in before crossing boundaries to chase after your wounded animal.
- Do not ask to cross a field outside of your field except to follow a wounded animal.

- If you come across another hunter in your area, politely ask them to leave and call us immediately. If you cannot get a hold of us, contact the sheriff department at 509-773-4545. Do not get in an argument or fight with any trespassers. Remember that trespassers are stealing what you have paid for and are dangerous to all of us.
- Remember that this is a working ranch. Please leave gates as you find them. Watch for escaped livestock - there should not be any livestock in your field.
Before the Hunt:
- Send in your Horseshoe Bend Ranch Deer Hunting Registration at least 60 days prior to the start of your hunting season to reserve the same space you had last year.
- Send in your deposit with your Registration. After seniority, fields are reserved first-come, first-served. We will notify you as soon as possible that your field is reserved for you. If no fields are available we will put you on the waiting list in case of a cancellation. Your deposit will be refunded if we are not able to find a suitable space for you. Your deposit is not otherwise refundable except where noted elsewhere in these rules.
- Please send in the balance of your payment after we have confirmed your reservation. We need to receive your remaining payment no later than 2 weeks before your hunt or your space and deposit will be forfeit.
- If you draw a tag for an additional buck, plan to use that tag elsewhere. You are welcome to use your extra doe tag here.
- Additions, deletions and substitutions are allowed up to 2 weeks before the start of your season. NO additions, deletions or substitutions after that date.
- Your permission slips will be mailed to you no later than 2 weeks before the start of your season. If time is limited we will call to arrange for your permission slips to be picked up at Matt Chiles’ mailbox at 1006 Horseshoe Bend Rd on the morning of your hunt or the evening before your hunt.

After the Hunt:
- Call us and we can assist in getting your deer back to your vehicle with one of our ATV’s.
- Let us know if we can assist you having your game processed and shipped to you.
- Let us know within 24 hours whether or not you got a deer.
- Let us know how many points your buck was on each side including 1” or longer eye guards (3x3, 4x3, etc).
- If you got a nice deer we would like to take a picture of it – please stop by 1006 Horseshoe Bend Rd so we can do that. We always enjoy any pictures of any of your deer that you want to pass on to us - we may use them in our promotions or on our web site.
